Shuttle, train or private transfer?
Honestly: the shared shuttle bus is the cheap seat (roughly 10 to 30 euro per person, fixed timetable, set stops) and the train from Bologna Centrale takes about an hour to Rimini station, but you first need the Marconi Express monorail into town and you still end at the station, not your hotel. The private car wins when the equation changes: you land with suitcases and beach gear, you travel in 3 or more, your flight arrives late in the evening, or your hotel is in Riccione, Misano or a residence far from the station.
